Is HPMC safe?

HPMC is safe and non-toxic, can be used as a food additive, does not contain calories, and does not stimulate skin and mucous membrane contact. Generally regarded as safe (FDA1985), the allowable daily intake is 25 mg/kg (FAO/WHO 1985).

HPMC is an environmentally friendly product and cannot be eaten.

Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Otherwise, wash with plenty of water.

Precautions and storage:

Store in a cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight.

Please use up after opening the bag, otherwise the mouth of the bag must be sealed.

When using it, it should be used under well-ventilated conditions, and personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and gloves should be worn.

The material will slip if wet, so wash thoroughly with water after treatment.
